Persian Music Concert for Nowruz – Celebration of Renewal and Spring

The Trio SaMaZi presents a unique concert on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 7:30 PMat the Salle Joseph Rouleau, offering a musical journey that blends the richness of Persian tradition with contemporary creativity.

Comprising three Iranian musicians – Sareh Borna on kamancheh, Maryam Tazhdeh on târ, and Ziya Tabassian on tombak – the trio explores the nuances of classical Persian music while infusing it with vibrant modernity through original compositions. Their approach bridges heritage and innovation, creating a refined, sensitive, and deeply moving sonic experience for the audience.
