Dear Music Lovers, We hardly dreamed in 2002 that the idea of the Recorder Festival would flourish for so long. We are delighted to invite you to this year's annual festival at which the recorder reigns. We are also very happy to present the annual Montreal International Recorder Competition. The quality and the talent of the participants since its inception in 2005 have been impressive. Don’t miss this chance to be part of it and support up and coming young musicians. |
From year to year the Montreal Recorder Festival explores the richness of our instrument and demonstrates its unimagined diversity. We present concerts featuring various musical styles, workshops of all kinds, and a masterclass. There is always something for everyone and we hope many of you will take part in this musical banquet.
