The compulsory piece by Quebec composer Patrick Mathieu
This is a work for an ensemble of alto and bass recorders.
Each contestant is required to perform the alto I part as part of their Semi-final programme. The piece will subsequently be performed in its complete ensemble form by all the contestants at the Final. The remaining parts will be distributed to the contestants immediately following the Semi-final.
