Motezuma — An Opera by Antonio Vivaldi |

Ensemble Caprice and the Montreal Baroque Festival

This opera, composed by Vivaldi at the height of his career, has survived only in part. Caprice offers a reconstruction of this great work. Come and be amazed by the incredible story of the famous Aztec emperor Montezuma in battle against the conquistador Fernando Cortés, whose brother Ramiro married Montezuma’s daughter.
